Amba Haldar Churna
Amba Haldar — the mango-scented turmeric.
Amba Haldar is mango ginger — Curcuma amada — a relative of the common turmeric with a distinctive raw-mango aroma when you open the jar. Used in Indian household Ayurveda for inflammation and digestion, and externally as a Lepa.
Less talked about than common turmeric, but those who know it tend to keep a jar.
