Gandhi Hair Oil
An everyday Ayurvedic hair oil. Properly made.
There's a particular ritual most Indians grew up with — a slow head massage with warm oil, usually on a Sunday afternoon. Gandhi Hair Oil is made for that ritual. It's a Bhringraj-base hair oil cooked the slow way, in a sesame and coconut oil base, with the herbs simmered in until the oil takes on their character.
It smells like a real Ayurvedic hair oil should — Bhringraj, Amla, Brahmi — not like synthetic perfume trying to mask cheaper oil. Apply to the scalp and length, leave it on for an hour or overnight, wash out with a mild cleanser. Old-fashioned in the best sense.
What's in the pack
Til (sesame) and Nariyal (coconut) oil base, slow-cooked with Bhringraj, Amla, Brahmi, Jatamansi and supporting Keshya herbs. Full ingredient list on pack.
How to use
Warm a small quantity in your palm. Massage into the scalp and through the length of the hair. Leave on for an hour, or overnight if you prefer. Wash out with a mild cleanser. Use 2–3 times a week, or as suits your routine.
A few things worth noting
For external use only. If you have sensitive skin, do a small patch test on the inner arm first. Avoid contact with eyes. Keep out of children's reach. Store in a cool dry place away from sunlight.
